The recording plays once, as it does on the day: no pause, no rewind. Practise a whole test or one part. After you submit, the transcript shows where each answer was said.

Computer-delivered IELTS practice
Listening and Reading are marked out of forty, and your band is read off a published table. Practise on a screen laid out like the test centre’s, and find out how many you are really getting right.

Bands from the published Listening guide and the Academic Reading table, the ones your results here use. A real paper’s own table can differ by a mark.
The test day, to scale
Listening, Reading and Writing run back to back; Speaking can fall on another day. Each one is here, timed the way the day times it.

Marking
Anyone can show you a passage and a box to type in. What makes practice worth anything is what happens when you press submit.
Marking folds away case, spacing and curly quotes — formatting, never meaning. Accepted spellings are listed by hand, because guessing one is how a right answer gets marked wrong.
Your raw score is looked up exactly: no rounding to the nearest row, no interpolation. Where no published table covers a paper, you get the score and no band.
On a Premium AI plan, Writing and Speaking come back criterion by criterion with an estimated band, labelled as one everywhere — an examiner may place you a band either way.
Rounds of 3, 5 or 10 minutes. One question at a time, shown beside the paragraph its answer is in, from a different passage each time.
Select a word in any passage or transcript and save it with its sentence. You write the meaning; flashcards bring it back.
Every day with a finished test, part or sprint counts. Today is safe until midnight; a whole empty day starts it again.
Each skill’s best and latest band, test by test, with the overall band once all four have one.
